A friend is someone we turn to
when our spirits need a lift,
A friend is someone we treasure
for our friendship is a gift.
A friend is someone who fills our lives
with beauty, joy, and grace
And makes the whole world we live in
a better and happier place.

In Spite of War By Angela Morgan Angela Morgan lived during both of the World Wars. Hi, I have always really loved writing and this is one of the poems I wrote about a story I read in a newspaper. It shows how life is hard and changes and many people lose their way in their path to find peace. Thank you and I hope you enjoy it.
